Maserati brought out its very first racing car in 1926, with which it won numerous Grand Prix titles. Numerous epoch-making feats were achieved, including the world speed record in 1929 by Borzacchini driving a Maserati V4, and Fangio’s F1 world championship victory in his 250F in 1957.

Having passed through the hands of a number of groups: Citroë n and the American Chrysler among others, the Italian brand finally joined forces with Alfa Romeo, part of the Fiat group.

Present in Modena since 1939, Maserati launched its iconic models in the 1960s: the Ghibli and the first Quattroporte, whose 6th generation was inaugurated in 2013.

The future looks bright for the Italian brand in the years ahead.
