Christian Louboutin, the famous brand with the delicate red sole, needs no introduction. The brand is currently celebrating the 10th anniversary of the creation of a now mythical model: the Pigalle pumps. For the record, Christian Louboutin gave them their name in reference to his favorite Paris neighborhood: Pigalle, which inspired these iconic shoes. The shoe’s dynamic shape, strong pointed toe and sexy heel have captured the hearts of shoe lovers the world over.
According to the designer: “This is not a seasonal shoe, but one that lasts a lifetime. You can wear them in winter or summer: in suede or leather, shiny or matte. But in my opinion, it reaches its peak in black patent leather, because of the red sole and the precision of the design”.
On the occasion of this beautiful anniversary, Christian Louboutin invites his fans and followers to post photos of their pairs of “Pigalle” on Instagram and Twitter with the #PigalleIs10 .
The lucky ones will be selected and have their photos shared on the brand’s official accounts from November 24 to December 1.
