And for this summer presentation, the designer draws on the theme of architecture. A huge open structure formed the backdrop, in which the models took their places before stepping out. On the catwalk, the look is at once casual and formal, elegant and seaside. Stripes, almost tone-on-tone, underpin the look with lapels on overcoats, trench coats, jackets and all-over suits. Loose-fitting pants are worn high on the waist, accessorized with straps that fall to the hips. Jackets are long with large pockets. Colors are mineral, with only a few more colorful mismatches. A large striped knit sweater, sneakers and a small silk scarf around the neck create contrasts of urban chic.
