Fred Marzo has just opened a space in the Marais district. A minimalist space, but dedicated to luxury, the place bears witness to the designer’s savoir-faire.
The hushed atmosphere evokes the comfort of a boudoir.
From vertiginously arched shoes to understated pumps, each model captures the eye. Irresistibly drawn in, the eye lingers on the delicately elaborate details. Python skins, with their almost bristling scales, complete the silhouette of a shoe.
The delicate red line on the back of each model is an invitation to playfulness. The designer sees it as a signature. This evocation of couture stockings is also a tribute to femininity incarnate.
The new AH 14/15 collection will be resolutely glamorous. Sensual is the name of the game. Foal-style shaved skin, tertiary tones, leathers in a variety of textures. Some models are more shiny, sheathed in lamé skin, flush with the mirror effect.
The designer envisages a wide range of shapes around the pump, boot pump, escarpin and gaiter. This range of possibilities is undeniably delightful.
Note that the company offers half-measures. Enough to make you want to be inventive and put on shoes… with elegance.
