Manfred T. Mugler wanted a top-of-the-range show combining the quality of the Revues Classiques, the rigor of a fashion designer and the modernity of a spectacular proposal that advocates
mixity, shows off all kinds of beauty, and pushes performance even further. A crazy, creative, sometimes clichéd show that takes the dust off the Parisian revue.

Manfred T. Mugler stages the journey of a young woman whose dream is to shine and become a tightrope walker. Her quest is for a harmonious encounter between joy and balance, in space. Through her whimsical and unusual encounters, she discovers herself, asserts herself and transforms herself to become sublime and fulfilled.
For this creation, Mugler revisits the revue, an artistic expression in which he finds the greatest freedom. Changing moods with each painting, moving from wonder to emotion to laughter and empathy, the Revue allows for every kind of madness, every daring and metamorphosis. Much to the surprise of the audience, who are sometimes a little lost.

In a show bursting with creativity, the Creator blends joy with eroticism, magic with high technology, light with transformation, to carry the spectator away in a whirlwind of emotions. Each tableau takes us from one universe to another, punctuated by original music and songs created specifically for the occasion. At times, it verges on the fetishistic, at others on the musical, at others on the sexy revue. This is a real UFO.

Casting is demanding, and the artists are dancers and acrobats, singers and actors, models and performers. Mugler is having fun, suggesting different facets of beauty. Far from a fixed image, he advocates diversity in a visionary show that reinvents the cabaret / revue.

It fizzes in every direction, it’s crazy, it’s brilliant, it’s shocking, it’s kitsch, it’s MUGLER.
