At the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, the film’s sound plays through CineWav on the viewers’ phones, who bring their own headphones. According to the property, no speaker broadcasts the soundtrack on the beach.
A shared screening, without collective sound
The announced programme runs at Coconut Grove from 13 September to 9 November 2026, on Sundays and Mondays. Welcome begins at 6 p.m., the screening at 7 p.m. It is open to residents and outside visitors alike, with children over five.
The proposal deserves to be looked at through its use. In a cinema hall, sound helps bring viewers together in a single experience. Outdoors, its diffusion also engages those who did not choose the screening. Individual listening shifts this boundary: it makes it possible to organise a collective activity while reserving its soundtrack for the participants.
