Gifting Collection 2021
Alexander McQueen celebrates the launch of its 2021 Gift Collection with a specially commissioned film and still sequence by animation director Isabel Garrett.
True to the house’s script, the film focuses on the natural world and the hidden treasures – both man-made and natural – that make their way through the tangled undergrowth of the forest floor. Moss, birds, beetles, spiders and snakes form the backdrop to The Curve Mini’s exclusive iterations, the Small Skull bag and the jeweled flat clutch.
Jewelry appears alongside, with talismans and charms, symbols of luck and love, also inspired by flora and fauna. Hearts, cobblestone skulls, horseshoes, butterflies and the McQueen seal all appear in polished gold metal, meticulously hand-sculpted, engraved and set with crystals and pearls.
The Alexander McQueen gift collection will be available from October 25 in Alexander McQueen stores worldwide and on alexandermcqueen.com.
Isabel Garrett is an animation director specializing in stop motion and puppet storytelling. Garrett is a resident artist at Fondation Sarabande.
The Sarabande Foundation was created by Lee Alexander McQueen to support creative talent.
