Budget My Trip is an app created for globetrotters by globetrotters. Alex and Ryan, two travel bloggers, are at the helm of this soon-to-be-launched application.
Alex(www.vizeo.net) travelled solo around the world for a year, crossing 15 countries. He visited most of the major European capitals. He recently completed a 3-month road trip to Australia. Alex has visited more than 50 countries.
In 2008, Ryan(www.lesacados.com) initially set off on a 14-day trip to Vietnam, which then turned into a four-month adventure across the whole of South Asia with just €210 in his pocket. He’s been traveling ever since.
Both have one thing in common: they know how to manage their budget. Drawing on their experience, they created the Budget My Trip application to help all travelers manage their budgets.
The application lets you manage your expenses in real time on your mobile. Budget My Trip is the ideal tool for:
– defining your travel budget for a stay of a week, a month, a year…
– entering your expenses each day in the local currency of the country
– having an integrated currency converter (automatic or manual)
– having a summary table in Euros of your expenses and thus seeing whether your daily budget is being respected
– knowing the breakdown of your expenses by category (accommodation, food, transport…)
– compare your expenses with the statistical average of other users who have already traveled to the same country, etc….
Available in early June on the App Store and on Web Apps in early July for €1.70
