The World Cup kicks off in Brazil on Thursday. The big question is where to watch the games, so that more than one person can enjoy the world’s best matches. Luxsure has selected 4 must-see spots.

The most Brazilian: Betclic’s Grito Gol Club

To coincide with the Football World Cup, Betclic is once again creating a stir with the opening of its Grito Gol Club Betclic. Following on from the success of the Bar à Poules in 2012 (which offered a fun betting experience based around real pool matches), the leading sports betting company is getting into the “futbol Brazil” spirit by offering the general public a new ephemeral venue at the Favela Chic, the Mecca of Brazilian nightlife in Paris. From June 12 to 26, during the group matches, Betclic’s Grito Gol Club will welcome excited fans, soccer enthusiasts and laymen looking for an amazing place where they can express their joy, experience the intensity of the competition, celebrate each goal or the joy of a winning bet and make their vocal chords vibrate… by pushing their Grito Gol! The Grito is the cry! The cry of the commentator, the fan, the goalscorer, the punter… inspired by famous commentators.

The chicest: the Bristol bar

Le Bristol is offering excellent viewing conditions. All World Cup matches from 6:00 p.m. onwards, and all matches from the Round of 16 onwards, will be shown on the huge mirror screen in the Bar du Bristol. The Palace is offering 4 formulas ranging from 40 to 290 euros, with a series of tapas designed by Eric Frechon, three-star chef at the Bristol, to provide a gastronomic experience worthy of the event.
Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2011 and head bartender at Le Bristol, Maxime Hoerth and his team have taken to the game. During each match, they’ll suggest the emblematic cocktails of the participating countries. Are you more of a Caipirinha or a Champagne Cocktail?
Before the start of each match, customers will have the chance to bet on the final score. If just one of them guesses correctly, he or she will win an invitation to a cocktail and tapas experience at the Bar du Bristol in the company of the person of their choice. If more than one player wins, each will be served a Signature cocktail that evening. Then, by drawing lots, one of them will receive an invitation for two. With a program like this, it’s guaranteed to be a hit!
