Stéphane Rolland presented his new collection in the form of a short film, l’Echappée, filmed by Diane Sagnier and starring the incredible Nieves Alvarez and Jalil Lespert. The challenge was to show as many silhouettes as possible, while maintaining the coherence of the storytelling. Stephane Rolland reveals the body, the veil. This collection is inspired by the late 70s and early 80s in its reserved extravagance. A lot of embroidery on long wefts, embroidery sometimes reminiscent of tattoos. Velvet adds depth, lamé brings light, reds are vivid, blacks are deep, gold shimmers, everything is very photographic. A magnificent film for a poetic and ravishing collection.
