2014 is truly Calogero’s year. The singer’s album is a huge success. Last Saturday, he was at Bercy: an apotheosis.

Bercy was packed to the rafters last Saturday. The crowd came out to celebrate Calogero. Recently named singer of the year by RTL, Calogero is weightless at the moment. His album “les feux d’artifice” is rocketing to the top of the sales charts.
In the audience that evening were Florent Pagny, Marc Olivier Fogiel, Stanislas and Pascal Nègre. For two hours, the singer alternated between songs from his latest album (La vie moderne…) and his hits (En apesanteur, Pomme C, Face à la mer…). Songs with a strong social theme. The singer showed great energy on stage with his bass in hand. “C’est dit”, with an acoustic guitar, was an emotional moment. The staging was quite original, with screens going up and down regularly. Calogero ended with his hit of the moment. “Plus jamais ça”, chanted like a slogan at the end of the show. A powerful moment!
