ISSEY MIYAKE is collaborating for the third consecutive season with director Lisa Paclet, who takes up the theme of the “Rhythmatic Forest” collection and offers her vision of an encounter in the forest.
The two young women, like two deer, seek each other out and lose themselves in this imaginary forest. A ballad that beats to the rhythm of the life of the creatures that inhabit these woods.
The techniques used for this collection evoke the majestic beauty of the forest. Pleats take shape, like the growth rings of trees, creating volumes of organic beauty.
Music specially arranged by Ei Wada of Open Reel Ensemble, accompanied by the voice of Chiyako, singer of the Yanéka duo. Here’s an exclusive video of the fashion show:
