LE LIDO DE PARIS CHOOSES SHOUROUK TO LAUNCH EXCLUSIVE JEWELRY COLLECTION

A few days ago, we were invited to preview the new jewelry collection from the collaboration between Shourouk and Lido. A glamorous and seductive collection that’s sure to sublimate you.

Lido de Paris asked jewelry designer Shourouk Rahiem to create an exclusive jewelry collection to celebrate the Paris Merveilles revue, launched in April 2015 and directed by Franco Dragone.

The collection includes not only a jewelry line, but also embroidered T-shirts and sweatshirts. “Intended for sale to French and international customers attending the show, it is an extension of the dream for those who want to take home the enchanting souvenir of the evening,” emphasizes Hervé Duperret, General Manager of Lido de Paris.

The meeting between the magazine and the designer was an obvious one. The glamorous world of Paris Merveilles matches Shourouk’s taste for spectacle, enchantment and femininity: “I’ve always been inspired by rhinestones, sequins and feathers. When I heard that a venue as legendary as the Lido de Paris was asking for my services, I was immediately seduced,” declares the designer.

Before creating his own brand and selling his creations worldwide, Shourouk worked for John Galliano, Chloé, Roberto Cavalli and Jean-Paul Gaultier.

“I created these exclusive jewelry designs around the Lido essence of feathers, rhinestones and colored stones. I was so inspired by this universe that I decided to associate the cabaret theme with my entire next collection, adding my quirky, pop spirit. Collaborating on such a prestigious revue is a little girl’s dream come true”, she explains.

“It’s a great honor for us to share the spirit of the Lido with such a talented designer. We couldn’t wait to see how she would make it her own, and we were delighted. Just as Franco Dragone did with the new Revue Paris Merveilles, Shourouk has captured the glamour of the Lido while bringing her own modern, fashionable side to it,” says Nathalie Bellon-Szabo, President of Lido de Paris.

The collection was launched during Paris Fashion Week in September 2017 to press and infuenceurs around the world. The collection will go on sale in November 2017 in the Lido de Paris boutique, located at the entrance to the venue, as well as on the Shourouk website.
