Art Élysées and Design Élysées, two not-to-be-missed events, during the week of October dedicated to Art in Paris.
For the past seven editions, Art Élysées has played an active part in the artistic effervescence of the capital, and differentiates itself from other
fairs, with a clear identity thanks to a strong positioning in modern art. Art Élysées has also seen the quality of its contemporary art exhibitions improve year on year. This steady progress is due to the work of the organizers and the artistic committee chaired by Baudoin Lebon and comprising Michèle Aittouarès, Christine Kandler, Pierre Sébastien,Claude Mollard and Robert Vifian.
Launched in 2010 for international art and design enthusiasts and collectors, the Design Élysées fair has joined the success of the Art Élysées fair. Specializing in 20th-century furniture and design objects, Design Élysées brings together a selection of dealers, each more relevant in their own field, to appeal to collectors, the curious and lovers of the “beautiful”.
New structures, more chic and hushed, still facing the Grand Palais, to welcome a wider but ever more
demanding selection of galleries.
A PRESTIGIOUS LOCATION AVENUE DES CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES
In harmony with the spirit of the Art Élysées fair and the Design Élysées show: dynamic, elegant and prestigious, the Avenue des Champs-Élysées is a strong symbol of the city of Paris. By setting up on this mythical avenue, Art Élysées and Design Élysées contribute to giving the city of Paris a strong power of attraction, enabling it to be a major player on the international art scene and art market. The avenue des Champs-Élysées is also a unique location, central and therefore easy to access, offering both shows optimum visibility. Orexpo, the organizer of Art Elysées and Design Elysées, is a member of the Comité des Champs-Elysées.
