A brand-new Parisian venue has opened its doors inside the prestigious Buddha-Bar Paris: Secret 8, a bar within a bar, is an original creation orchestrated by Tarja Visan, founder of the Buddha-Bar concept, and Mareva Essia, founder of the Tigre Blanc Paris group. A place tested and approved by the editorial staff.

It all began with a chance meeting between Tarja and Mareva. These two women with similar artistic backgrounds took advantage of the opportunity to travel and learn about different cultures. After her musical experience in New York, Mareva devoted herself to the creation and development of French start-ups. At the same time, Tarja set up her own music label (George V Records), producing the world-famous “Buddha-Bar” compilations. In addition to their professional careers, they are both committed to protecting the environment. Thanks to the marketing of the “Buddha-Bar” music titles, Tarja takes part in the Buddha-Bar Nature with Allain Bougrain Dubourg, and Mareva supports the protection of tigers and their natural habitat by donating
part of the profits from Tigre Blanc Vodka® to the Panthera® association.

Le Secret 8 was born out of their shared desire to design a place that felt like home: a new cocktail-bar experience. A secret place whose atmosphere and music are inspired by the Anglo-Saxon and American culture they both appreciate for their lifestyles. Tarja is the creator of strong concepts (B*Fly, Buddha-Bar, Barrio Latino and Barlotti) and is keen to set a new trend in partnership with Mareva, who is supporting her with inspiring alcohol brands such as Tigre Blanc Vodka®, a product made in France.
Le Secret 8 pushes back the boundaries of the simple cocktail bar. To gain access – by reservation only – and enjoy a sensory experience that differs from the traditional codes of Buddha-Bar Paris, you’ll need to obtain the password available on Secret 8’s social networks. This will open the door and reveal the secrets of the place. The cocktail menu features 8 alcoholic creations, including the essential Revolution 8, and 2 non-alcoholic creations. Prices: 12 euros for the non-alcoholic creations and 17 euros for the alcoholic signatures.

The glassware, sourced from the four corners of the world and available in only 10 pieces per type of glass, extends the cocktail experience for the consumer.
