The name says it all: with the Avenger Hurricane, Breitling launches a new chronograph that pushes the limits of professional instruments.
Extreme power, with an XXL diameter of 50 mm, a massive construction with side protection reinforcements and an all-black technical look enhanced by touches of yellow and aeronautical chablon numerals.
Extreme performance, thanks to the innovative use of Breitlight®, a world first on a watch case. 3.3 times lighter than titanium and 5.8 times lighter than steel, but considerably harder, this exclusive high-tech material boasts numerous qualities: exceptional scratch, tensile and corrosion resistance, non-magnetism, thermal stability, hypoallergenic properties – not to mention a warmer “feel” than metal and a slightly marbled effect enhancing the originality of the design.
Extreme reliability, thanks to the new Manufacture Calibre B12, an automatic chronograph movement displaying the time over 24 hours, as is customary for military personnel and pilots, and certified chronometer by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres), the guarantee of superior precision.
Extremely functional, with a highly legible dial enhanced by luminescent numerals and hands, a thick, double-sided, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and controls (push-buttons and crown) featuring a non-slip relief for optimal handling, even when wearing gloves.
Extreme comfort, with an exclusive bracelet combining a yellow rubber interior and edges with a black high-resistance Military textile fiber exterior.
Water-resistant to 100 m and equipped with a rotating bezel with straddles for memorizing times, this new Breitling instrument for professionals is a compendium of boldness, innovation and performance, designed to share all challenges – on land, at sea and in the air.
