ExcuseMyParty is the first collaborative platform for organizing or participating in private parties. It’s like the Airbnb of parties. es! It’ll atmosphere?
Founded by a young team of five entrepreneurs, Bruno Haddad, Philippe Vitry, John Tossou, Romain Duflot and Laurent Imbeaux are breaking new ground in the world of apartment parties.
Being surrounded by complete strangers in an unfamiliar place might scare you, but tomorrow you won’t be able to live without it!
If you’re the kind of person who likes to have a good time, go ahead and become a party organizer from the comfort of your sofa, and play the new Gatsby. Create your own concept, set your own entrance fee, organize your own event and, above all, win the loyalty of your guests.
You dreamt it, they did it!
For those who can’t host, or for those who remain doubtful, there’s nothing to stop you from trying the experience. Become “L’ambiancé”, that unknown guest for an evening. Alone or with your friends, the “Ambiancés” will enjoy an unusual setting for a change from their countless evenings at home and with their buddies.
An “Ambianceur”, “Ambiancés” for an “Ambiançage”, such is the concept proposed by ExcuseMyParty. Like AirbnB, you can consult the profiles of your hosts and guests and rate them! Guests who host a party receive a contribution. As far as prices are concerned, the founders explain: “There’s no predefined rate, and it’s up to the ambianceur to set his or her entrance fee according to what he or she is planning. If you’re planning a champagne party in your duplex, you’ll obviously set a certain price..”
In the age of dating 2.0, it’s easy to rediscover the pleasure of chance encounters and unexpected encounters. Create a whole new network!
Stay tuned, the first evenings will be available from February 2015 on their website. The app will arrive a little later. You can also take part in their KissKissBankBank campaign campaign or get your groove on on their Facebook page in the meantime.
The Monkey Crashers invited themselves to the launch party with a highly successful apartment hold-up. Find out more about their festive Hold up concept on their Facebook page. Don’t miss their next parties and the famous MCTV – Emission #!
If you’re not entirely convinced by the ExcuseMyParty concept, it’s always a good alternative to visit a few Haussmann-style apartments or get some decorating ideas.
