Last Friday, Beyoncé surprised the world by releasing a new album on the online music store Itunes Store.
The album, soberly named Beyoncé, contains fourteen previously unreleased tracks and seventeen videos produced in the greatest secrecy. Superb and provocative, the clips were shot all over the world, from Houston to New York, via Paris, Sydney and Rio de Janeiro, prior to the album’s launch.
Apple announced yesterday that “Beyoncé” has become the fastest-selling album in the history of the Itunes Store worldwide, with 828773 sales in just three days. It has also topped the charts in 104 countries.
It’s a new success for the fifth studio album from this international artist, who no longer needs to prove her talent and creativity!
