The Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski is adorned with the red of Hublot’s patented ceramics. A color of life and passion, it recalls that in 2004 Richard Orlinski’s first Crocodile Born Wild sculpture was displayed in this vivid, powerful shade, a red that has since become the most present color in his bestiary.

A few months ago, at Baselworld 2018, Hublot added a new feat to its list of innovations by creating the first brightly colored ceramic. 4 years of development from the idea to its industrial finalization, an innovation in material and manufacturing process (a fusion of pressure and heat that sinter the ceramic without burning the pigments) for a ceramic harder than its alter egos (1500 HV1 versus 1200 HV2), 100% in-house know-how developed in tandem by its R&D department and its Metallurgy and Materials laboratory, a secret formula protected by several patents.

Since 2017, Richard Orlinski, the world’s best-selling contemporary artist, has been imprinting his beveled style on Hublot watches. Works of art to be worn on the wrist, carved from his folds, revealing edges and facets. Like his sculptures, the Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski Ceramic displays its brilliant three-dimensional folds in a polished finish, the artist’s visual signature.

The Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski Ceramic is limited to 200 pieces. 45 mm, of art and innovation, cut in Hublot red ceramic. From the seconds hand to the counters and hour markers; from the case and bezel to the bracelet, nothing escapes the vivacity of Hublot x Orlinski red. The sapphire caseback reveals the HUB1155 self-winding skeleton chronograph movement.
