The story is like a fairy tale. Like a sleeping beauty, La Renommée slumbered in Arthus Bertrand’s archives. In its rightful place, in the collections of bas-relief sculptures signed by renowned artists. Rediscovered by the Maison’s Artistic Director, this delicately drawn allegory, created by the talented sculptor and medallist Charles Pillet (1869 -1960), has become the starting point and Muse for a new collection of precious and jeweled medals:
ARTHUS BERTRAND’S ALLEGORIES.
This collection presents all the House’s expertise in a new light: drawing, bas-relief sculpture, engraving, stamping and grand feu enameling. It also pays tribute to the collaborations the Maison has always forged with the greatest artists of its time.
