Tuck Shop is the food/fashion spot in the 10th arrondissement. Fashion, because Paris’s first Aussie café has been praised by leading women’s magazines, but also because it’s the HQ of many of the frontrow’s fashionistas. This week saw the first anniversary of the Tuck Shop, in a bobo atmosphere to match. Featuring vegetarian and vegan dishes, a pared-back but studied retro decor and made-to-measure coffees, the place has everything it takes to attract a clientele in search of organic products and homemade specialties.

We’ll be going especially for the very reasonable brunch, with formulas ranging from €6.50 to €15.50, including muffins, croque-madame, banana smoothies and a multitude of succulent dishes. Next Sunday, with a hangover and a few friends, you’ll know where to repair the damage done the day before.
