The staging at Prada offered us a healthy dose of color and penumbra, just like the Spring/Summer 2014 collection presented that day.
Prints and gum-toe shoes were at the heart of Prada’s men’s uniform for Spring/Summer 2014 (the women’s resort collection was presented at the same time). Floral prints can be found on sweaters and shirts (sometimes just on the sleeves) but also on bags, Prada here confirms the ‘floral’ trend for next season.
Color is the key to this collection. The palette ranges from yellow to black, with an emphasis on colors usually reserved for autumn, such as mustard, camel, burgundy and brown (proof that when it comes to fashion, anything goes).
Casual silhouettes include sporty accents with the use of lightweight zip-up parka and leather sneakers, while dressier outfits are composed of cashmere sweaters buttoned at the collar and shirts and suits.
The Spring Summer 2014 collection was worn by the following models: Ben Allen, Tom Webb, Abel Van Oeveren, Clément Chabernaud, Abiah Hostvedt and Luca Jamel.
