To mark the launch of Hennessy Very Special Limited Edition by Futura, Hennessy treated
a select few, including Luxsure, to a unique experience: a day on the theme of Street Art in Paris, with a live performance at colette, culminating in the official launch party Bernard Peillon, Chairman and CEO of Hennessy, had the pleasure of hosting the international launch of Very Special Limited Edition by Futura, made by the internationally renowned graffiti artist.
Leonard McGurr alias Futura put on a live performance, tagging a 100m² wall of white boxes containing the famous bottle. Each guest walked away with a box and part of the work created on the spot. Breakbot, Pedro Winter aka Busy P and Uncle O kept the crowd of music and design artists, beautiful people and Futura friends dancing all evening, including artists Os Gemeos and Fafi, Kavinsky, C2C, Emilie Simon, Marco Prince, Emmanuel de Buretel, Irfane, photographer Richard Schroeder and Florence Dauchez, DJs Pone and Marco dos Santos, Baptiste Lorber and Thierry Lasry.

Hennessy is both a benchmark in the art of blending eaux-de-vie and the world leader in cognac. Very Special Limited Edition by Futura is one of the many examples of artistic cooperation undertaken by Hennessy.

Hennessy and Futura
Futura and Hennessy share a passion for the meeting of art and function. For Hennessy, Futura’s distinctive visual identity and artistic sensibility.
To create its special edition of Very Special bottles, Futura simply started with cognac. “I wanted to do something that had never been done before, which of course affected my choice of colors,” explains the artist. Futura produced a warm, complementary color palette, starting with an amber earth tint, and used bursts of yellow to capture the movement of cognac as it spins in a glass.
The “Very Special Limited Edition by Futura” bottle, along with a special colette series made in 213 copies, were unveiled at colette on October 22 in the presence of the artist, who gave a live performance followed by a bottle signing session.
