PUMA by HUSSEIN CHALAYAN Fall/Winter 2012-2013 Collection
Inspired by the cosmos and taking the high road with this chaotic lifestyle, PUMA Artistic Director Hussein Chalayan puts his talent to work in the Black Label Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The result is winter classics with aerodynamic finishes, practical everyday functionality and high-tech fabrics.
Earth-tone shoes are inspired by NASA. The flagship garments are made from high-performance functional materials, including warm Melton wool, lustrous survival jersey and digital checkered oiled cotton. The collection features ultra-cool bright colors, and the designs are both practical and stylish.

Space Performance astronaut jacket
Available in men’s and women’s versions, the Space Performance jacket is inspired by the cosmos and reminiscent of astronaut clothing. Equipped with a hood and made from soft, durable materials, this jacket adapts to all weather conditions. It is made from 100% synthetic woven fabric with water-repellent treatment. It boasts a storm CELL FORCE 2 waterproof rating and protects against the elements thanks to its 100% welded seams, 10,000 mm water column and water vapor permeability.

UM Journey
The UM Journey bag fuses iconic materials used for space exploration with traditional cuts and features borrowed from the great outdoors. The silver lining shines through the perforated fabric to create a chic, galactic effect. The reflective inverted zipper is reminiscent of the seamless finish of spacesuits, while offering night-time visibility. And for the ultimate in versatility, it can be worn in multiple ways thanks to an adjustable shoulder strap. Rubber-coated buckles and a PUMA by Hussein Chalayan metal plate complete the look.
UM Jets
For cycling, socializing and, if need be, exploring the universe. The UM Jets is inspired by this season’s theme of interplanetary exploration with its versatile “ready for anything” style. With its adjustable shoulder straps, it transforms in no time into a bundle, backpack or satchel. The ultra-sophisticated, seamless perforated material highlights the silver lining and reflective zipper. Two separate compartments are linked in the center, each with a spaceship-inspired shape. Rubber-coated buckles and a PUMA by Hussein Chalayan metal plate complete the look.
