On June 23, in the enchanting setting of the Maison de l’Amérique Latine, Relay invited us to its annual awards ceremony. This year, the prize underwent a facelift and changed its name. In addition to the jury, readers will now also participate in the voting. Relay, present in stations, subways and airports, underlines the metaphor of the novel as a moment of travel.
At precisely 6:30 p.m., Jury President Jean-Michel Vernhes announced the name of the winner: A.J.Kazinski for Le dernier homme bon (Editions J.C. Lattès). The story of a serial killer who executes people working for the good of humanity. A work that combines psychological depth, action and suspense.
Jury member Patrice Lecomte looks relaxed. The cocktail party is taking place in a very pleasant atmosphere, and the gardens are sublime.
The location also allowed us to travel.
