At the dawn of a new adventure, KEN OKADA has invented a new universe to tell a “beautiful story” to the women she dresses.
At the convergence of her dual French and Japanese cultures, this new 50 m2 space brings together 3 Shirt themes and her Atelier de Création. She wants her creations to be a passport for subtle, cultured women.
The decor is made of muslin stratifications, in the continuity of KEN OKADA’s sophisticated designs: container and content assimilate, merge, merge.
Fragile, sensual, sensitive to the slightest breath, the slightest passage, the design fades away and becomes a membrane, a garment, a caress on the skin.
Eroticism is de(veiled); what exists is concealed without being hidden, nudity is beautiful.
The installation is made on computer, using digital cutting, laser and pressurized waterjet. Here, technology becomes an embodied tool, a support for anomalies and singularities, of extreme sensuality.
The new KEN OKADA Boutique is an imagination, a cartography, a geography embedded in the fabric of Paris.
