During last year’s fashion week, I hung out in Paris with friends from L.A. who had come for the occasion.
Everyone was dressed up in his or her own way to catch the eyes of the world’s most beautiful girls during this week of tender, sweet madness.
Anti-bobo and anti-frime, we walked around dressed like American rockers.
The most “je-m’en-foutiste” of us was wearing a hat. A simple hat!
Unfortunately, none of us, except the initiated, had any idea of the power of this simple accessory.
It was a magnet, a sexual object in its simplest form! It was a bit like a plunging neckline that refuses to reveal the rest, thus giving rise to a fantasy and arousing desire.
As for the hat, it camouflages the gaze, and every woman wants to be looked at (narcissism obliges). After all, a woman prepares herself to be seen, and if we deprive these ladies of our gaze, it haunts them and they seek to capture our headlights in order to illuminate them!
How could a simple hat inhale an entire room in a matter of seconds? The girls I would have fought over were trying to catch the eye of the man in the hat.
At the end of that evening I was forced to christen him “Mojo-Hat”.
All this to say that if you’re looking for a famous “Mojo-Hat”, Ben Sherman makes some very eye-catching ones.
It’s up to you to decide whether or not you want to be seen by your hidden partner.
