Since it was launched in 2008, the MAIF Prize for Sculpture has enabled three visual artists to tackle the technique of bronze, a noble but difficult-to-access material.
Three different sensibilities, three particular backgrounds that confirm the relevance and originality of this Prize.
MAIF is now launching its call for entries for the 2011 edition: visual artists can compete until May 31 by downloading an application form from www.maif.fr/prix-sculpture.
In addition to financing the cast-iron project, the prize offers the winner educational and technical support, and enables the mutual to embody its values of solidarity.
