Robosen has just announced its arrival in France with a pop-up store in La Défense (details below). On this occasion, we were able to discover one of their products: the mythical robot Optimus Prime from the Transformers license.

Presentation of the robot Optimus Prime from Robosen

Made in partnership with Hasbro, the Optimus Prime robot from Robosen is without a doubt the ultimate entertainment experience. In its humanoid form, it has a height of almost 50cm while in its truck form, it is more than 35cm long. As you can see, it is possible to switch from one mode to another… and all this with a simple voice command!

In fact, once turned on, you just have to give it the command to convert to switch from one mode to the other. It’s exactly the same as when you say “Hey Google” or “Alexa”, here you’ll just have to say “Hey Optimus Prime” and then transmit your command. Currently, all these orders are to be pronounced in English, but it will be possible to do them in French soon. You can find the full list of voice commands in the mobile application available in French on Android and iOS.

This mobile application is a major complement to the robot that allows you to discover a multitude of features. Our favorite is the stock. Although you will find several basic actions in the app, you can download others.

We strongly recommend you to test the ones that allow your Robosen Optimus Prime robot to do push-ups or sit-ups, the result is amazing.

In the application, as in many mobile games, you find a digital joystick to move the robot (in any of its forms) to make it roll or walk in the direction of your choice (yes even backwards).

It comes with an axe and a blaster (which lights up) to bring even more visual (and sound) effects.

To achieve all the complex movements, Robosen’s Optimus Prime robot contains 27 servomotors (chest X2 / hands 6×2 / legs 5×2 / wheels X2, head x1) with an aluminum alloy frame structure.

Want more shares? A USB cable allows you to download new elements and implement them in your robot. A tab in the app also allows you to teach your robot to learn the movements of your choice with a simple programming tool.

At the same time design object, leisure and collection, the fans of the license will take pleasure to have fun with the robot Optimus Prime of Robosen.

Pop-up store Robosen

To celebrate its arrival on the French market, the Robosen brand is setting up shop for a period of 3 months (from December 8, 2022 to February 28, 2023) at the Quatre Temps shopping center on level 1 at the RER A exit. Robosen’s Optimus Prime robots can also be found on the ground floor of Printemps Haussmann (men’s section) and in the Manga Story boutique in République.

Of course, it is also possible to buy the robot online (999€) directly on the Robosen website .

You can complete your purchase with the trailer and its mini vehicle “Roller”. As the video below shows, the trailer is also being transformed. You will be able to control both Optimus Prime and the Roller with your phone to move them.
