The Haute Couture collection Ulyana Sergeenko Fall-Winter 2021/2022 is the first to be presented by the house as a corresponding member of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. The collection was presented in the form of a filmdirected by Renata Litvinova, with Natalia Vodianova in the lead role.
The collection was inspired by natural beauty and the rich culture of Kareliaa land of bottomless lakes and dense forests, dotted with myths and legends. The limited color palette reflects the hues seen in northern Russia. Cool blue skies, layered gray marble, pale coral blackberries and silver aspen church domes, which miraculously seem to change color under different lighting. The intense recall the depths of the forest.. Clean, sharp-edged silhouettes, achieved through corseting, are a reference to the streamlined architecture of old wooden buildings. Fluid, sheer dresses with elaborate embroidery sit alongside more exaggerated garments with broad shoulders, stiff leather corsets and thick fabrics.
