Se reclaim the values of haute couture, after the brief interlude during which Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Dior collections were unveiled, notably through the cinema. The materiality of fabric becomes formthe subversive language of embroidery is expressed in a project that becomes a performance.

Reminiscent of the Salle aux Broderies in Rome’s Palazzo Colonna, the Chambre de soie, created by French artist Éva Jospin, serves as a grandiose backdrop for the show. This creation is the backdrop for the presentation of dresses with their magnificent pleats, hand-woven trains and chains that draw patterns on the body. Couture offers what we didn’t know we wanted, and reveals what we didn’t know we wanted. Like the avant-garde, it makes visible what we can’t see. Through art and the skills of excellence, it defines the impulses of a changing world.
