For the SS22 collection, the designer focuses on the “inner purity deeply rooted in our eccentricity, which, for Hiroaki Hiroakipunk mentality. The collection is presented at Sogetsu Plaza in Tokyo, built by the world-famous artist Isamu Noguchi. The space is a sanctuary that recreates Isamu’s “inner purity”.
The SS22 collection will also unveil a collaboration, “Kinbaku“with Shibari artist Hajime Kinoko. It will show the coexistence of physical constraint and mental freedoma superb stylistic metaphor. The art of rope bondage by Hajime Kinoko is one of the absolute forms of body art, creating a strong bond of trust between the binder and the bound. Belt details belt bondage, harness harness parts and skirts resemble the state of mind of Hajime Kinoko .
The presentation includes a performance by singer Junko, pioneer of the Japanese noise band “Hijyoukaidan”. Junko has an unrivalled stage presence with her extreme vocalizations, expressing the power of solitude.
