Bar 8 opens its winter terrace in collaboration with Glenfiddich.
This winter, the terrace of Bar 8 at Mandarin Oriental, Paris is decked out in Glenfiddich colors, and until early spring will be offering a menu of original cocktails in collaboration with the prestigious single malt whisky brand.
Like the Saint Honoré district, the bar at Mandarin Oriental, Paris is a place where elegance and creativity meet at any time of day. Its tree-lined terrace, nestled in the heart of the hotel’s interior garden, invites you to stroll and get away from it all. This winter, to celebrate Christmas, the garden is transformed into an enchanted forest, populated by birch trees, fir trees and the Glenfiddich stag, the historic emblem of the famous whisky distillery. The Glenfiddich terrace at the Mandarin Oriental, Paris is a cocoon, sheltered from the vagaries of the weather thanks to the heated tent that covers it, and is the ideal place to enjoy the long winter evenings and indulge in cocooning.
For the occasion, Judicaël Noël, head bartender at Mandarin Oriental, Paris, has created a selection of exclusive cocktails, including the Gourmet Twist, a fine, refreshing cocktail combining the bitterness of Glenfiddich Project XX Whisky with the sweetness of Cointreau with notes of orange chocolate. The Enchanted Blend hot cocktail is made with Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Single Malt, a reduction of Toscana Massa mulled wine, Aperol and Bitter whisky.
