Created in 2002, the Tambour watch marks the beginning of Louis Vuitton watchmaking. Recognizable by its unique shape, the design of this timepiece symbolizes all the values of the Maison. Engraved in steel, the 12 Louis Vuitton letters revolve around the case like the 12 hours on the dial. The Tambour watch appears to be carved directly from a block of metal, expressing a sense of power and solidity.
Fifteen years after its birth, the Tambour is sublimated through a new version: the Tambour All Black.

A racy aesthetic
Louis Vuitton unveils an entirely matte black timepiece. From the dial to the PVD-coated stainless steel case, from the bracelet to the DLC-coated steel pin buckle, black highlights the harmonious contours of the Tambour. Only the dazzling white Superluminova hands and hour-markers remind its lucky owner of the passing hours. Its monochromatic design evokes everyday performance. The Tambour All Black
is the accessory for men who travel, surrounded by contemporary, urban and refined objects.

The Tambour All Black Chronographe lends a sporty spirit to the watch while retaining its elegance. A new instrument is housed in an imposing 46 mm-diameter case powered by an automatic caliber. The steel crown is overmolded with black rubber for added dynamism.
The Tambour All Black Petite Seconde gives this timepiece a sleek, sophisticated look. The small seconds function is nestled at 6 o’clock in the heart of a 41.5 mm-diameter case powered by an automatic movement.
Elevated to iconic status fifteen years after its creation, the Tambour remains firmly on trend with this All Black version featuring an ultra-contemporary, sober and very masculine design.
