A cocktail of emotions
“Fearless”: the motto of a Scottish Highland clan is the leitmotif of this collection. Bold styles assert themselves and make their mark… And the women who wear these symbols don’t shy away. They move forward. The brightly colored tartan evokes the primitive war cry of the people of the North. Native peoples who brandish their identity, an uncompromising pride born of inner strength and a survival instinct. The shock of punk fashion rejects the conventional; metal spikes rip through clothing and upset the established order. The purity of a straight line, the perfection of a square. Cruel geometry. Wool, leather, metal and silk: noble materials that characterize the Ortega brand. Raw cuts, sharp diagonals. A sparkle of crystal. An explosion of color. An intoxicating cocktail of emotions for the assertive woman.
During a meeting with the designer, we were able to find out more about his vision of women and the origins of his fashion. Antonio Ortega draws his inspiration from his life experience, particularly his many years in Mexico, where he rubbed shoulders with the ancestral know-how he uses today in his fashion. A fashion that he wants to be timeless and strong, far removed from ephemeral trends.
