“The trick is knowing where to stop”.
“Going too far can be just as bad as not going far enough”. This is the credo of the Talbot Runhof duo, both in their designs and in their lives in general.
One of the first questions a designer is asked is “Who are you designing for?”. To answer that question, just look closely at the collection: cool, subtle, elegant and understated.
Every piece has a detail, one that may not be obvious at first glance, but once you’ve found it, it’s the one that makes you fall in love with it.
Over the years, the duo have come to realize that their customers share the same philosophy.
For the 20th anniversary of their Paris shows, Johny Talbot and Adrian Runhof drew inspiration from the Danube, Vienna Opera balls and tails.
Danube blue, burgundy, bronze and ivory are reflected in the most seductive materials – tweed, organza, silk, cut thread.
The ultimate in opulence, slightly scratched on the surface.
