The presentation of the first pair of Yeezy Boost 750 had caused a stir on the 2015 Grammy Award stage. The adidas confirmed app allowed first-time buyers residing in New York to reserve their pair in advance and then pick them up in store. Some were surprised to receive their Yeezy boost from Kanye himself!
Such was the success that the queues were never empty. Camps were set up at distribution sites. In France, the lottery system helped reduce the number of sieges that occurred when the Yeezy Boost Turtle and pirate Black were released. So there’s a good chance that the same pattern will be repeated this time.
