A brand’s influence is now measured by its involvement in projects. Committed to environmental issues with RAW for The Ocean; (https://www.luxsure.fr/2015/08/03/g-star-raw-une-marque-qui-sengage-collection-raw-for-the-oceans-automne-hiver-2015/) the brand, known for its jeans, is also involved in culture. Music in particular.
Puff Daddy and Pharrel Williams set the pace for the latest campaign: personalities who extend and embrace the G-STAR RAW style. A young, contemporary, urban spirit.
It’s no surprise to discover that the brand has teamed up with the Boiler Room for a series of events to unearth future stars. One step ahead of the game: don’t settle for established names. Taking risks? In fact, it embraces the zeitgeist and a subversive spirit, constantly on the lookout for novelties and rare pearls. Tired of hearing the same old stories, craving new discoveries: on October 20, G-StarX Boiler Room arrives in Paris with a live performance by Manaré and a DJ set by NSDOS.
Representing a certain Parisian spirit, Manaré is part of the Pigalle and ClekClekBoom collectives. A DJ as well as a clothing designer, director Bronia Stewart presents him in a short film set in the heart of Paris. A Parisian short film, but no accordions, Eiffel Towers or other clichés. A creative Paris, a visionary Paris, a Paris far from static. A Larry Clark atmosphere.
NSDOS, also a member of ClekClekBoom, is developing an artistic horizon that blends music, digital installations and dance. A true performance (in every sense of the word), based on interactivity, it offers audiences a genuine experience.
Live on the Boiler Room website.
