A new cultural venue has just opened in Paris, offering a unique olfactory journey, free of charge! It’s the new Fragonard perfume museum.
Nestled in the heart of Paris, a stone’s throw from the Opéra Garnier, this historic site, whose spirit the Maison Fragonard has sought to preserve, has been a theater, a velocipede merry-go-round and an English furniture store.
From the raw material to the perfumer’s craft, the museum presents the secrets of perfume production, as well as a magnificent collection of precious bottles from antiquity to the present day. Immersed in the atmosphere of a perfume factory at the end of the 19th century, visitors discover the world of perfume through a scenography combining antique objects, archives and video images of today.
A beautiful place!
