This season, the Yanina Couture collection is an invitation to a mysterious land of Haute Couture filled with fantasy and fairy tales
During Haute Couture Week 2015-16 in Paris, designer Yulia Yanina unveils both the traditions of Russian folk art and the magic of their national costumes; all the while retaining the spirit of the elegant Haute Couture silhouettes of the 1950s.
The collection’s materials are essentially fine wool, cashmere and double crepe suits. Linked to these noble materials, we find a pale pink color palette mixed with shades of gray, black and ivory.
A variety of embroidery techniques are used, from mixed motifs to exquisite, malleable sketches; picturesque inspiration combined with soft colors bring dynamism to the collection.
