Craig Green stands out for his recognizable vocabulary, working with both work ensembles and martial arts garb, combining loose-fitting pants and kimono jackets. For next summer, the designer opted for vivid hues – indigo blue, green, orange, red – no doubt enabling him to demonstrate the work of ties, straps and fastenings that knot the body, while managing to keep everything fluid. Of particular note are the sweaters with holes over the breasts, from which strips of fabric emerge, and the large panels covering the body, open just above the eyes and navel. A strong vision for this 2015 LVMH Prix finalist, who’s making more and more of a name for himself.
