Unadorned and light, white brings freshness and radiance, blends perfectly with all types of accessories and brings out the best in different skin tones and complexions. And if there’s one color with which white blends perfectly, it’s black. The two opposites are all the rage, and even more so this summer. First of all, they are deployed between top and bottom. What could be better than pairing a white shirt with a black skirt or pants? Add contours or a lapel for even greater effect. Or play with lines and stripes for a graphic look. Designers add material effects and contrasts, moving from transparency to opacity through these two extreme tonalities. And let’s not forget the arty trend.
