Do you know Alexandre de Paris? It’s hard to ignore: this is the most legendary of all hairdressing houses. Founded by Monsieur Alexandre, this house gave birth to the concept of “haute coiffure”. He single-handedly elevated hairdressing to an art form. It has been acclaimed by the greatest fashion designers, from Yves Saint-Laurent to Karl Lagerfeld.
This prince of hairstyling has also rubbed shoulders with the most illustrious hairdressers, from Grace of Monaco to Noor of Jordan, not to mention the Duchess of Windsor. Hollywood legends such as Romy Schneider, Lauren Bacall, Audrey Hepburn, Liza Minelli, Greta Garbo, Sophia Lauren and Elizabeth Taylor, who even became his great friend, were quick to visit his salon.
Although Monsieur Alexandre is no longer with us, his legacy lives on thanks to Michel Dervyn as President and Jean Luc Minetti as Artistic Director. Both have preserved the brand’s DNA and developed it over time.
A time of modernization that needed a new concept adapted to the habits of active women. To achieve this, Michel Dervyn chose to team up with Pierre Marie Faure to launch a new concept, “Alexandre de Paris Studio“.
This salon on Place Saint-Sulpice is the first step in a new era, while retaining the house’s high-end codes.
Alexandre de Paris Studio welcomes its customers into a casual chic universe that adapts to the pace of modern women. Through two main formulas, women will be pampered and cradled in a luxurious universe at affordable rates.
The first formula, “brush and breakfast”, starts the day at 8:30am with a delicious breakfast (croissants, vitamin-enriched fruit juice and steaming coffee or tea) and a haircut at the same time, to optimize the time of busy customers.
The second formula, “Let’s go out”, available from 6pm to 8:30pm, lets you sport a sumptuous look for a special evening or simply to pamper yourself after a long day at work.
And if the ladies so wish, they can take advantage of an additional service, the VIP private cabin, which unfolds for greater intimacy and complicity. Other complementary services are also available, such as a manicure and make-up service.
