Emeline Coates, designer and founder of the eponymous brand, is a woman of her time, in her early thirties, who pays particular attention to the pieces she creates and demands the highest quality from her products. She began designing handbags in 2008 after studying at the London College of Fashion.
Emeline ventured into fashion by selling prototypes on Portobello market, and soon a number of London boutiques were distributing her little bags. Now settled in Paris, she continues to work on her singular, essential range, so timeless that her clutches have the attitude and comfort of a vintage bag, with the durability and quality of a new one!
