In this fabulous 240-page retrospective, Hubert de Givenchy pays tribute to his muse and friend: Audrey Hepburn.
21 years after the actress’s death, Givenchy embarked on the production of a luxurious book featuring the 150 or so fashion drawings he drew in his own hand. Sketches of the models Audrey Hepburn wore in life and on film are included. Givenchy dressed her in the films Sabrina (1954) and Diamants sur canapé (1961).
“I would like my dear Audrey to send you this gift in color.
Some drawings retracing all these years of happiness and work.”
As we turn the pages of this book, we also come across creations worn by other great women: Princess Grace of Monaco, Jackie Kennedy of Onassis, Elisabeth Taylor and the famous Marlene Dietrich.
“To Audrey with love” is due to be published by Broché at the end of September.
It will retail for €100 incl. VAT.
