Maison Léonard, famous for its silk-printed designs and Japanese culture, has appointed Yiqing Yin as Creative Director.
Yiqing Yin moved to France from China at the age of four. She studied there and graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifss in 2009. In 2010, she was awarded the Grand Prix de la Création Mode by the Mairie de Paris, and in 2011 the ANDAM prize for first collections.
Since January 2012, Yiqing Yin has been presenting his collections as a guest member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne. His demanding creations, navigating between finesse and strength, will breathe new life into Maison Léonard.
At the same time, Yiqing YIN will continue his activities within his own company.
