To celebrate its 150th anniversary, Martini has concocted a new limited series, the Martini Gran Lusso, literally, the Martini Grand Luxe!
Eight years in the making, this new version of the famous Italian spirit, crafted by Martini’s master artisans, combines two unique extracts. One was inspired by a historic recipe for Vermouth (a white wine-based aperitif) aged for a year in wooden casks; the other is one of Martini’s house secrets, and consists of botanical extracts that have rested for eight years in casks.
This atypical flavor, with a slightly bitter taste on the palate, is obtained thanks to the aromatic extracts of selected plants. The mellow sweetness of aged Moscato adds a spicy, sweet touch to this Vermouth. The red Barbera grape, with its notes of lavender and rose, adds a unique sweetness to the drink.
Martini Gran Lusso will also allow bartenders and cocktail lovers to enhance any mix that was originally made with Martini!
