Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini has created a beautiful silk serge scarf to celebrate Gucci’s sponsorship of the Gucci Paris Masters, the prestigious Jumping International held for its 5th edition in Paris from December 5 to 8, 2013.
Measuring 90 cm x 90 cm, the unique design of this scarf combines Gucci icons from the House’s equestrian heritage such as the stirrup, the bit and the green-red-green web band. The beauty of this unique creation is highlighted by the impeccable quality of the craftsmanship. The model was created entirely by hand using the watercolor technique. Each piece was then hand-printed using a silkscreen technique. The edges in fine silk serge were also hand-finished using an Italian technique.
Highlighting the exclusive nature of the event and this tribute creation, this scarf will be offered as a limited edition. It will retail for 295 euros and will be available at the Gucci ephemeral boutique located in the “Village” of the Gucci Paris Masters from December 5 to 8, 2013.
We’re giving away 5×2 tickets to the Gucci Masters on Friday December 6, where you can watch the Longines Speed Challenge.
