To celebrate Earth Day 2021, Salvatore Ferragamo is proud to present the Earth bag and the F-80 Skeleton Sustainable watch, two projects linking the innovation and know-how of Made in Italy with creativity in the use of low-impact materials, which have always marked the House’s journey.
Presented in a limited edition of just 500 pieces, the Earth bag is made from FSC-certified cork, a natural and renewable resource, and a lining of pure biodegradable linen. It is a reinterpretation of the iconic Top Handle bag created by Fiamma Ferragamo in the 90s, and is part of the prestigious Ferragamo’s Creations collection.
The F-80 Skeleton Sustainable watch is an exclusive, sustainable re-edition of one of the Maison’s most successful models. Available in green and blue, each produced in a limited series of 200, its strap is made of a thin layer of FSC-certified cork and a fabric of post-consumer recycled PET fiber.
Both launches have obtained ISO 14067 – Carbon Footprint certification and, in collaboration with Rete Clima, Ferragamo will be supporting projects to combat climate change.
