Yannick Alléno: The Sauce Gets an Iced Twist
From May 26 to July 31, 2026, Les Chocolats de Yannick Alléno will be setting up shop at the outdoor kiosk at Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet, offering a selection of artisanal ice creams.
It’s an interesting twist: applying one of the chef’s signature dishes—sauce—to ice cream. Two flavors are available: vanilla from Papua New Guinea and 80 percent Ecuadorian Grand Cru chocolate. Three sauces form the foundation of the experience: vanilla caramel, 80% Ecuadorian Grand Cru chocolate, and an intense strawberry extract.
Four toppings round out the lineup: cookie chunks, dark chocolate-coated hazelnuts, wafer pieces, and sanded pistachios. The small 115-ml size is priced at 6 euros. The large 300-ml size is priced at 13 euros.
